Taekwondo Triumph: Celebrating Our Champions

We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of our talented participants from POORBITA KISHALAY, who showcased their skills and determination in various Taekwondo competitions. Numerous athletes from our organization excelled at the District and State-level Taekwondo Championships, as well as other competitive events, demonstrating their commitment and prowess in the sport.

Among these accomplishments, we are especially proud to highlight the outstanding performance of five of our athletes who earned the opportunity to compete at the prestigious Taekwondo National Championship 2024, held on June 17, 2024, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Their participation at this national stage is a testament to their hard work, rigorous training, and unwavering dedication to Taekwondo.A special moment of pride for our organization came when three of our tribal students—Sujata Hembram, Rima Murmu, and Puja Tudu—achieved extraordinary success by securing Bronze medals at the National Championship. Their remarkable feat not only highlights their individual talent and resilience but also serves as an inspiration to their peers and our entire community. These young women have brought immense honour to POORBITA KISHALAY, and their achievements underscore the power of perseverance, discipline, and the inclusive spirit of our organization.

Celebrating Academic and Athletic Triumphs at POORBITA KISHALAY

We are elated to announce the remarkable achievements of five exceptional tribal students—Somasree Mardi, Rima Murmu, Upen Kisku, Sujata Hembram, and Sujal Mardi—who have successfully passed the Madhyamik Examination in 2025. These students, who have been part of POORBITA KISHALAY since our organization’s founding in 2020, have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and resilience in achieving this significant academic milestone. The Madhyamik Examination, a pivotal moment in their educational journey, opens doors to further opportunities, and their success reflects the power of perseverance, quality mentorship, and the supportive community we have built together.

Beyond their academic accomplishments, these students have shown exemplary leadership and commitment to giving back to their peers. Somasree, Rima, Upen, Sujata, and Sujal have actively taken on the role of mentors within POORBITA KISHALAY, guiding younger children in their studies, sports, and various extracurricular activities. Adding to their impressive achievements, Somasree Mardi, Sujata Hembram, and Rima Murmu have also excelled in the realm of sports, securing Silver medals at the 2025 State School Games. This outstanding accomplishment highlights their versatility, discipline, and ability to balance academic rigor with athletic excellence.
